Designed and hand sewn by Walter Cabal of Cabal Crafted, this handsome leather notebook cover encourages slow living and promotes the thoughtful exploration of art and writing. Inspired by a love of poetry, Walter meticulously crafts each piece with the intention of re-dignifying manual human labor. The vegetable-tanned leather is sourced from three of the oldest and most respected tanneries in the country and is designed to improve with age and use.

Walter was born in the Philippines and immigrated to the US with his family at the age of three. Today, he owns and operates Cabal Crafted, a small studio in the diverse and often-overlooked community of Pomona, California, east of LA. Sourced from three of the oldest and most respected tanneries in the country, the leather he uses is vegetable tanned and designed to improve with age. From bags to basics, home goods and more, each piece Walter creates is meticulously handmade and hand stitched with the intention of re-dignifying manual human labor.
