Soup Spoon

Hand carved by master woodworker Jen Heathcote, this wooden soup spoon is made from a naturally bent branch, meaning the grain of the wood runs straight along the handle and wraps around the curve at the bottom of the bowl. The result is a lightweight yet versatile utensil strong enough to hold up to years of daily use. The spoon features a unique tooled finish for added tactile appeal. Because each spoon is individually hand carved, exact size and shape will vary slightly.

Dimensions: About 7″ long; 1 1/2″ wide

Care: Hand wash only.

Ships within 4 business days. If item is on back order, spoon will ship within 4-6 weeks.

Jen Heathcote Jen is a master woodworker specializing in individually hand-carved works of art. Creating from the comfort of her back porch in Whitefish Bay, WI, she first built a reciprocal lathe, which requires forge-specialized tools of her own design. Having studied physics, she enjoys problem solving in a three-dimensional context and values the personal connections her handmade products foster. She imbues each spoon with distinctive character and finds personal satisfaction in the utility of her warm and comfortable wooden creations.
